Animatics and Explinations
Here is the video of my animatic, i made this from my storyboards.
For my planning i had to develop 3 ideas and make mind maps and storyboards of the ideas. i then had to cut out each storyboard and take pictures of them, i then had to use adobe premier pro to then make this animatic.
All of my ideas were pretty much the same!
My first idea was that i would show different scenarios of how not to be safe on line and what the consequences could be and then how you can deal with them and how to prevent them happening in the future.
The second idea was that these bullies would make a big group chat on a social networking site and send a naked picture of some girl in it that she had sent to someone in private and people started to bully her for it through the group chat. Then i put some ways at the end on how to stay safe online.
The final idea was my main and best idea the third one this is where people starting bullying someone over a group text and then that person goes and tells somebody and then the bullies get caught and told off. Then ways to be safe online comes up of the screen and also a website as to where you can find more help

Final Exported music video
This is my FINAL music video, i think that my music video is a very successful one as i feel that it has a very entertaining an attractive feel to it, i feel that this is due to the quick cutting to the beat, along with the effects and colours. However, we did use the green screen a lot i feel that our video could have been even more effective if i was able to use a wider range of locations.
Adding Effects
We used many different effects in our music video by using the effects that are available in the software. For example, me and my team used the green screen an awful lot, we did this because we thought it looked good and was creative. To use this we had to use an effect on the software that we used (Adobe Premier Pro) know as 'Ultra Key' i would drag this effect on to the clip that i wanted to use it on, which would then bring up a box and i would click this icon and then click the colour in which i wanted to change. This then enabled me to be able to use a background of my choice.
I also used an effect called 'Lens Flare' this meant that i was able to create an effect which made colourful outlines of circles that moved around the screen that i could use as a background.

Paper Edit
This is the Paper Edit, this shows the software on paper. This shows us where our tracks appear and how long they appear for on paper based on our editing.
Using planning documents
Here are pictures of me and me team in the process of using our planning documents to film our music video. we used these planning documents in order for us to be able to the initial idea that we planned to use. As we had the planning documents it made it a lot easier to film as we knew what we wanted to shot and how we wanted it to look.

Advertisement Logo
i have chosen to design my logo like this for a few reasons. I chose this font type because i feel that is is a very sophisticated, this gives the impression that the company is a very trustworthy and informative website. I have also used this design of 2 locks interlocking to show the actual meaning behind staying safe and staying connected. Locks keep things safe and the two looks together symbols staying together.

Using Planning Documents
When filming we tried to follow our planning documents exactly as we planned but sometimes it wasn't possible to do so. We thought we planned our music video very well so therefore we thought that if we stuck to it then out music video would look really good and not much would go wrong. We kept the same filming idea as we planned, we did this because we thought that we thought really hard about how to make it as interesting and entertaining as possible. We created story boards before the the actual shooting took place, this gave as an idea of how our music video would look. we made sure that the shots that were in our starboards were also in our actual music video exactly as we planned with the same shot type. although we tried our very best to stick to our storyboards sometimes it wasn't possible to do so due to resources.
The document that was are looking at while editing out music video is the rushes log, this is a table made up of information of the footage that we have shot, in this table is the following information;
- Shot type
- Description of footage
- Duration of footage
- Evaluation of footage, whether it was good or poor pieces of footage.
because of the rushes log, I could then choose how good my footage is and what types of shots I need for future filming to make the music video effective. Also, when assessing how applicable our footage was, I could learn from these mistakes and then make sure I did not repeat this.

Advertising Budget
In this post i will be looking at how much it would cost to make my advertisement.
i will be researching the cost of the following items are to help me to make my advertisement.

i will be researching the cost of the following items are to help me to make my advertisement.
- Camera/Tripod hire
- Location hire
- Talent / Crew hire
- Editing software etc hire
- i noticed that there was a significant difference in price of the Nikon cameras and the Canon. the Nikon cameras proved to be more expensive. Therefore i have chosen to higher this camera that is highlighted because it is a very high quality camera and it is quite cheap. i have chosen to hire this for 3 days to allow me enough time to create my advertisement. This will cost me £170
For my Advertisement i will also need a tripod to keep my camera steady, so i have been looking around to try and hire a tripod for the lowest price.

- Here i have found a list of tripods that i will be able to use with my camera ands i have chosen to hire the viten D7000 video tripod as it is the cheapest and i will hire this for 3 days which will cost me £45.
- For my location i have managed to find some prices of a local high school. I will be needing a school for its use of computers and rooms to film in.
Here is a list of prices that it will cost to hire out certain parts of the school on certain days i will be using 3 classrooms for 2 days this means it will cost me £69
- therefore i will need to hire Kirsty just for 3 hours to do the voice overs which will cost me £90.
i then had to look for actors, when researching i found that they can be very expensive, some charging from as low as £50 per hour to those that are charging up to £600 per hour. i managed to find an actor that would charge me £75 per hour, which isn't too expensive. the actor i have chosen has had a lot of experience and has been working in the acting industry for nearly 25 years. therefore i have chosen to hire this actor for 3 hours costing me £225

Finally i will need to buy some software in order to edit my work. I will be using Adobe Premiere Pro for the software, in order to use this I will need to pay a monthly fee to Adobe Creative Cloud. The monthly plan that includes the software that I need costs, £17.15 per month.
Overall to be able to complete my advertisement i have worked out that it is going to cost me £616.50

Feedback from client
My Client has watched my rough cop of the music video and has given me some feedback.
My client wants me to add these important improvements to make my music video perfect:
- Put the shots of MC Moses and Jonah clowning around and dancing towards the end so people take the music video seriously.
- The pace and quickness of the editing must be getting faster throughout the song as the beat and pace quickens
- Edit all the green screen shots, be consistent and creative make sure the colour's and animations are not random and fit into the video and song.
- Use the warp stabilizer effect on the all the shots that are shaking and are not stable for example the first shots of MC Moses and Jonah getting out of bed.
- Have a variety of different shots in the music video not only the cutting of the green-screen to green-screen shots
I will use this feedback to make my music video perfect and meeting all the requirements of my client.
